TINY HOUSES

Did you know that there are some companies out there that build houses smaller than some people's closets?  One is the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company and this is one of their homes.  Wanna have a look inside one:

Pretty nice huh?  This will run you upwards of  $40,000 or so, but you can build your own for much less.  The home in the video below was built for $2,000.   I'll let the owner explain how he did this himself.  Ahhhhh, mortgage and rent free life...how sweet it must be!

This isn't a project just for the guys either.  This one woman, Dee, built her own tiny home for $10,000 in her friends backyard.  Wow!

Now it's just a matter of deciding if you will build your own home from plans, or if you will buy an already made home new, or if you will buy a used home.  Keep in mind that “kits” are available that'll come with all or most of the supplies you'll need for building the house, along with instructions.

So there you are.  Now you have something to think about and in these ever changing times it's good to know some people have taken serious steps to uncomplicate their lives by downsizing.   Think you could live in a small space?
